Prayer-Praise Inspiration
The inspiration for Prayer-Praise comes from Revelation Chapter 7, verses 9-17, NKJV:
After these things I looked, and behold a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice, saying ”Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne and to the Lamb!” All the angels stood around the throne and the elders and the four living creatures, and fell on their faces before the throne and worshiped God, saying:
“Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom, Thanksgiving and honor and power and might, Be to our God forever and ever. Amen.”
Then one of the elders answered, saying to me, “Who are these arrayed in white robes, and where did they come from?” And I said to him, “Sir, you know.”
So, he said to me, “These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Therefore, they are before the throne of God, and serve Him day and night in His temple. And He who sits on the throne will dwell among them. They shall neither hunger anymore nor thirst anymore; the sun shall not strike them, nor any heat; for the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will shepherd then and lead them to living fountains of waters. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”
About Prayer-Praise
Prayer-Praise is a web-based ministry designed to encourage and aid believers in approaching the Most-High God. It is most important to understand that the only way to the Heavenly Father is through believe and profession of His Son Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
Why is Jesus the only way? What about the other prophets or significant religions in the world?? Certainly, there are more ways to eternal life.
The profound truth is: There is only one way to eternal life and that is through Jesus Christ.
In the gospel of John, one of the most quoted scripture in the whole bible John 3:16 NKJV states: “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” Then verses 17 and 18 give further confirmation of this truth: “For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world but through Him the world might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the only begotten Son of God.”
Later in the Gospel of John, Jesus in His own words said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” John chapter 14, verse 6, NKJV.
The Apostle Peter states these truths in his Pentecostal sermon recorded in Acts chapter 4: verses 8-12, NKJV:
“This Jesus is:
The stone rejected by you builders rejected
Which has become the Cornerstone.
There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to people, and we must be saved by it.”
The Apostle Paul wrote in 1 Timothy 2:5-6 NKJV:
“For there is one God and one mediator between God and humanity, Christ Jesus, Himself human, who gave Himself – a ransom for all, a testimony at the proper time.”
Philippians 2:8-11, NIV
And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death— even death on a cross!
Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name,
that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Truly, Jesus is the only way to God the Father.
Furthermore, your personal salvation is based on your belief and profession of Jesus as Lord and Savior. Romans Chapter 10: verses 9-13, NKJV:
“if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the Scriptures says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
There are equally important scriptures that give the consequences of denying Jesus:
Jesus says in Matthew 10:32-33, NKJV: “Therefore, everyone that will acknowledge Me before men, I will also acknowledge him before My Father in heaven. But whoever denies Me before men, I will also deny him before My Father in heaven.”
